Skills for Getting Hired!

I got my Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications. After a year and a half in the workforce, I decided to go back to school to pursue a Master of Science in Business Analytics.

As much as I love marketing, I know the future is data, and learning how to interpret, manage, and analyze data is what will set me up for success in the future.

According to LinkedIn stats from 2021, digital marketing is still one of the top hard skills for people to learn for better employment opportunities. It's also important to note that software development and data management make that list, too.

I am excited to begin my journey into business analytics. From looking at the BenU curriculum, I know I will be getting a lot of exposure to data management and some programming skills as well.
